PATIENCE
The word patience itself seems to indicate something other than it is.
If looked up in a dictionary, you could find words related to it such as, "annoyed, calm or able to wait".
Perhaps I thought I was patient and did not need to work on this, but, in closer looks at areas of need, I began to see that I am quite impatient.
Why do they call a person under the care of a doctor a patient?
Is it because he/she has to wait for the doctor to see her, to examine her and make a diagnosis?
Or maybe it is just the long wait in the waiting rooms that defines this word better.
I can wait all day if I have to for children to play,run and get messy. There is no issue for me to deal with children or people who need care.
So most people assume because of this that I am patient.
However, when it comes to answers from God, on dear to my heart issues, I am not so patient at all.
He is the one I should be patient with the most so in the end, I am not as patient as I thought.

I heard the best things in life are free. Well in many cases that is true.
However who ever charged for fear,or greed,or selfishness, or any other wrong thing?
I never heard anyone claim,Step right up!!!Get your fear cheap today. Or perhaps, SALE!!!TODAY ONLY ON ANGER!!!
Free, they are all free too, just as their opposite states such as love,kindness,giving and so on.
But, well examined, we see they all come with a price, even love.
In psalm thirty five David is crying because he is in sin and needs deliverance. He claims he cannot sleep,and worse yet cannot even "hear"(he is like a deaf man).
Sometimes I get like that when I am in the midst of a pity party or in fear, I just cannot see past the moment.I do not even want to "hear" God!!!!
Yet in my heart and spirit I know God is there and He will get me through this trial.
THERE ARE NO FREE LUNCHES. Love comes with a price just as fear does but you have to choose one or the other.
My friends and family love me,care for me and encourage me,and,that is good, but the despair lingers.
When I become anxious I pay because stress does a dance in my body,and,sometimes a big dance marathon.
Yet when I allow God's love to take over that fear my only price is total surrender to Him. Yesterday that was a high price for me,one I thought I did not have enough of to pay.
But God has ways of restoring to us riches we thought we did not have. His banking system is amazing for He gives out love endless times without interest or charge.
THAT IS THE ONE COMMODITY WE NEED FOREVER.
If we sign checks with His signature they will multiply,never bounce and always acquire the best resources and gifts we could ever hope for.
Walking with Him then is like a fresh breath of bankers air, we are wealthier than ever imagined.
How could we go wrong with that kind of investment? It bears the best interest of all His everlasting love and grace for us.
